I create/design my sites mostly using WIX but I can create sites with wordpress as well. (I will just need to know upfront, because other wise it will be built on Wix)
WIX - Flash Based
- Wix is a site builder designed on a flash based platform interface.
- Layout is created from scratch and fully customizable in apperance and design.
- No user access to site (Unless you say you want it up front AND pay a separate fee just for this access)
- Keywords - You are allowed up to 10 keywords for SEO purposes.
Now Wix has HTML 5!!
WORDPRESS
- Site is designed by taking a pre existing template and altering the color scheme.
- User control and own updating for content only.
- Wordpress is best for blogs alone and not for websites but can and are used that way.
- Keywords - Pretty much as many as you want on the backend.
- Widgets - Wordpress offers a variety of widgets.
